VP-7M FUZE

The fuze is a piezoelectric, nose-base type with percussion-instantaneous action, distant arming and a self-destruction mechanism. It is intended for use on PG-7 anti-tank grenades for the RPG-7V portable antitank grenade launcher. It serves to detonate the warhead on impact with the target. The fuze is composed of two parts – nose part (piezoelectric generator) and base part – safety and detonating mechanism.
