The assembly factory, with its latest modernizations in the field of automation, is specialized in pressing and screwing all types of explosives and pyrotechnic compounds, as well as in making the necessary powder charges for the company's special production with a capacity of about 80,000 - 150,000 items per month.

A key moment in the development of "VMZ" is the creation of the "Development" Department, which is solely engaged in the development of new products, improving the tactical and technical characteristics of existing products and supporting the assimilation of already created ones. The department has a team of specialists with many years of experience in the development, assimilation and transfer of technologies in the field of ammunition types from the company's product range.

The company also has its own testing ground, where it conducts tests to create products and improve the quality of current production. The presence of all the above-mentioned structural units represents the complete package of necessary capabilities for the rapid implementation of projects of high complexity.

Open test site - "VMZ" Sopot provides conditions for testing of weapons, military equipment and property.

CONDITIONS

- maximum distance - 2000m;
- provides measurement of initial speed, charge pressure, grouping by terrain and shield, strength, stability of the ammunition and completeness of the ruptures of the ammunition and explosive action, armor penetration on homogeneous armor and on homogeneous armor after dynamic protection;
- provides testing of the individual components of the ammunition;
- provides conditions for testing of weapons.

AMMUNITION

- ammunition for: 60mm, 81mm, 82mm and 120mm mortars.

Control of quality

The quality management system is certified in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2015 and the NATO standard - AQAP2110. "VMZ" has a license for export and import, a certificate for transfer of technologies and brokerage of weapons, as well as an approved manufacturer, it is also a reliable trading partner. The good quality and the tactical-technical characteristics of the products, produced in "VMZ", are evaluated by the specialists of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Bulgaria, as part of the products are accepted for service in the Bulgarian Army, and others are in the process of acceptance for service.
