It is designed for delivering single-action radio jamming transmitters in areas occupied by the enemy, for creating barrage VHF jamming in the enemy tactical commanding units. It is fired from the D-20 gun-howitzer, ML-20 howitzer-gun and 2S-3M self-propelled howitzer.
