125 mm round with sub-caliber projectile is quick-firing. This round is part of the kinetic type ammunition. The high armor penetration capability of the projectile is result of its high density, weight, small tip area and high muzzle velocity. The round is especially effective against enemy tanks and heavy armored equipment.
