81 mm ROUND WITH HE-FRAG MORTAR BOMB

The 81 mm round with a HE-FRAG mortar bomb is intended to defeat static soft targets,troops concentrations, machine-gun positions, vehicles, etc.in a radius of up to 13 m upon firing to a maximum range under conditions of operational use. The killing effect is achieved due to the great number of fragments and powerful high-explosive action following the detonation.

The round shall function upon firing from the M1, М29, L16A1/A2, M8/122, M8/211 mortars under conditions of rain, snow, dustiness; after storage in the open, under shelter, on unheated and heated premises; after transportation by road, rail, sea, and airborne landing.
